Student Absences

When your child is going to be absent, please call the attendance line at 303-326-3200.

It is a messaging service you can call after school hours. We appreciate if you would provide the following information in your message:

  • Your child’s first and last name
  • Grade
  • Reason for absence. If illness, please report symptoms and our school nurse may follow up with you, particularly if there is an outbreak of specific symptoms. This keeps your child safe as well as the other children.

  • If we do not receive a call from you, per state law, someone from the school will call you to confirm the absence. This is to ensure sure we have accounted for your child's whereabouts.
